I’m actually really questioning the advice of that book given that it is about painting wildlife, not painting wildlife. Maybe they should shave it first?

Ooooooh, you wanted “depicting wildlife with paint”. You should have said something. Too late now.

I will also accept a pink m oose with purple polka dots but only if you shave the patterns into it.

What’s all this fascination with shaving?

Have you ever seen a shaved moose? Neither have I.

I neither wish to see one nor shave one myself.

Friday! Today’s a half-day at work. I had to visit the doctor about an insect sting that looks infected (antibiotics and steroids prescribed) and I took the opportunity to stop by the small engine shop to see if they have a replacement body for my small mower. They do! Now I have to take the truck back to get it. I now get to swap the engine onto a new body. Fun times.
